Description
When image adjustment PRT Highlights in the Service Mode Menu is cleared, data "5" appears instead of "0".
Solution
CAUSE: This is normal operation for machine with s/n 11UM1****/11UN1**** and above.
SOLUTION: This is the correct value for machines in this serial number range. Ensure that all data becomes "5" after clearing data, and then continue the
operation.

Solution
CAUSE: The tension springs (p/n 25TU54050) are incorrectly installed on the hold plate (p/n 25TU54040) causing the blade (p/n 25TU54061) to not touch
the oil application roller (p/n 25TU54110).
SOLUTION: Refer to the illustration, Fusing Oil Application/Collection Mechanism , on page M-125 of the 7823 Technical Manual. Two of the four springs
should be providing tension of the blade against the application roller.

Description
Fiery* X2e, will not print a test page from a parallel connection and the Fiery operation panel indicates RIP on the LCD.
Solution
CAUSE: The parallel cable is not fully connected or is loose.
SOLUTION: Disconnect and reconnect the parallel cable and insure the connection is good and secure.
Note: The parallel printer cable is not proprietary. The cable has a DB-25 male connector that connects to the computer on one end and a MDR-36 male
connector that connects to the Fiery X2e on the other. The cable can be obtained from the Parts Distribution Center using part number (p/n 10015473).
